Empsy Thompson

Empsy Thompson completed his 23rd year as head baseball coach at A.L Brown High School and entered his 6th year as the athletic director at A.L. Brown High School.

Thompson has also coached American Legion baseball for a total of 8 years in Kannapolis and is currently in his 15th year with the South Charlotte Panther.

Thompson graduated from UNCP in '94 with a bachelor's degree in social studies education, where he was also a member of the baseball team.

Thompson resides in Kannapolis with his wife Nicole and their daughter Brynn.
